Holiday Lights Recycling Program

 

Crystal Lake The City of Crystal Lake, in partnership with Elgin Recycling, is accepting holiday lights for recycling December 1, 2017 through February 23, 2018.

Residents can drop off their unwanted holiday lights at City Hall, located at 100 W. Woodstock Street, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Drop-off bins are located in the City Hall lobby next to the Finance/Administration counter.

The following items are accepted:

All colors and lengths of holiday string lighting, including mini-lights, C7 lights, C9 lights, rope lights, LED lights, and extension cords.

The following items are not accepted:

Garland, live greens, wreaths or other non-recyclables.
