Public Education works with the community to educate its citizens about fire and injury prevention and preparedness. We provide fire safety talks for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, students and individuals. The Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department also participates in community events such as Johnny Appleseed, National Night Out, Truck or Treat, Career Day, and hosts our annual Open House. Through the dedication and hard work of all our personnel, we have successfully brought fire and rescue programs to our community making our homes and businesses safer places to be.
