The McHenry County Division of Transportation (MCDOT) will be hosting a public hearing concerning the proposed improvement plan for Randall Road from County Line Road to Ackman. The hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the H.D. Jacobs High School Cafeteria located at 2601 Bunker Hill Drive in Algonquin, Illinois.

At the hearing, MCDOT will present the purpose and need for the project. MCDOT will also present the proposed design for the road, which includes three through lanes in each direction and improvements at every intersection within the corridor. The public will also have the opportunity to provide comments on the potential impacts to Ken Carpenter Park.

The hearing will be conducted in an open house format with the presence of court reporters to record public comment. Exhibits showing the preferred alternative will be on display, and an audio-visual presentation will be continuously shown. Representatives from MCDOT and the consultant team will be present to discuss the project.
