General Rules

Swimming is only allowed within the beach area when a lifeguard is present. Swimming outside of the buoyed beach area, or when no lifeguard is present, is strictly prohibited.

The use of flotation devices such as rafts, noodles, lounges, water wings, etc. are not permitted. Only life jackets approved by the Coast Guard are allowed. Life jackets are available for use at the Lake House Complex for no additional charge.

Young Crystal Lake residents will be required to show a valid school ID to receive free admission when a parent/legal guardian is not present.

Lake House Complex

The Lake House is a fully-contained, smoke-free area monitored by attendants and lifeguards. Patio umbrella tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Cottage on the Beach offers hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, tacos, children's menu items, and more! The Lake House complex has locker room showers and a first-aid center. Coolers are allowed in the beach area. No alcoholic beverages, grilling/fires or smoking inside the Lake House Complex, including the beach.

Splash Pad and Playground

Located in the Lake House complex, the splash pad is a special treat for toddlers and younger children, with ground-based water jets that spray into the open air while buckets of water are poured overhead.

The playground is equipped with memory-foam decking, located in the Lake House complex adjacent to the splash pad.  This is an active location for children almost all year-round. A seating area with tables and an overhead pergola for parents to rest and watch their children at play while having some shade is immediately adjacent to the playground.

Picnic Grounds

Grassy sections of property are adjacent to the beach, surrounding the playground and splash for guests to sunbathe, picnic and play. Large overhead tent/picnic table units are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
