Metra has embarked on a process to develop a new strategic plan, which will guide their agency for years to come. Metra will host an open house where riders and the public will be able to get more information about this process and offer their thoughts. The open house for McHenry County will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at the Municipal Complex, located at 100 W. Woodstock Street, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Riders and the public can also offer their input by completing a short survey at www.metrarail.com/strategicplan. The survey will be active until August 10, 2012.
