National Night Out

 

On Tuesday August 7th 2012, the City of Crystal Lake is celebrating National Night Out with a community wide event. National Night Out is a nationwide event providing an opportunity for the community and local law enforcement to come together to promote neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships in our fight for a safer nation. This year’s National Night Out event will take place at Three Oaks Recreation Area. The event will start at 5PM and end at 8PM. This will be an evening of fun, food, and entertainment! Planned activities include: Children’s Sandcastle Building Competition, Free Face Painting, Police and Fire/Rescue Vehicles on Display, Police Canine Demonstration, Illinois Wisconsin Search and Rescue Dog Demonstration, Kid’s Games, Fire Truck Slide and Plenty of Food. The Culver’s food special is a cheeseburger, fries, drink and a cup of custard for $2.50.
