Every year the Crystal Lake Historic Preservation Commission creates a new trolley tour highlighting local history. On Sunday, June 12th, the trolley will visit the neighborhoods around the original 1840 village of Crystal Lake. The tour will highlight the historic details of buildings as well as personal stories about their owners, builders, and the community.

Timed, round-trip tickets are now available for $12 at Heisler’s Bootery, 50 N. Williams Street. On the day of the tour, any remaining tickets will be available for $15 at the downtown Crystal Lake gazebo.
