South Main Street Open House

PUBLIC HEARING OPEN HOUSE BY THE CITY OF CRYSTAL LAKE
FOR THE SOUTH MAIN STREET IMPROVEMENTS

Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that a Public Hearing will be held by the City of Crystal Lake regarding improvements to South Main Street/Pyott Road from U.S. Route 14 to south of Virginia Road. The purpose of this public hearing is to present the preliminary improvement plans, to explain Right-of-Way procedures, and to obtain public input on the improvement plans. The City of Crystal Lake and the consultant staff will be available to discuss the project and to answer questions on an individual basis. The City of Crystal Lake is seeking 4(f) De Minimis Impact finding from the Federal Highway Administration for these impacts.

The meeting will be conducted on an informal basis from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on November 12, 2009. Interested parties may attend the public hearing open house at any time. The public hearing open house will be held at City Hall, 100 W. Woodstock Street. This forum will be accessible to handicapped individuals.
