On Saturday, April 27, 2019, the Crystal Lake Police Department will participate in the DEA National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day event from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. During this time, residents can visit the designated drop-off area at City Hall, located at 100 W. Woodstock Street, to discard unwanted or expired prescriptions or over-the-counter medications.
The following items will not be accepted.
- Needles (sharps)
- Ointments, Lotions, or Liquids
- Thermometers
- Inhalers
- Hydrogen Peroxide
*Prior to drop off, be sure to remove all labels or black out with marker any information containing name, phone number, address, and doctor’s information.
