Brush Collection Program
The City's Brush Collection Program begins on the first Monday in May. Street Division crews pass down each public street only once. All brush must be less than 6 inches in diameter and no more than 6 feet in length. 

• If you live northeast of US-14 (Virginia St.) or east of McHenry Ave., have your brush out by 6:00 AM Monday, May 6.
• If you live southwest of US-14 (Virginia St.) and west of McHenry Ave., have your brush out by 6:00 AM Monday, May 13.  

Brush Drop-Off Site
The City's Brush Drop-Off Site, located at 410 S. Main Street, is open the first and third Saturday of each month from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, April through November. Proof of residency, such as a driver's license or vehicle sticker is required to drop-off brush at the site.

In addition, brush must be 6 inches or less in diameter and 6 feet or less in length to be accepted. Other, materials, such as bagged leaves, cannot be accepted at the site. Please contact your waste collection company if you have other materials that need disposal.
