Earth Hour is World Wildlife Fund's global initiative where individuals, schools, organizations, businesses and governments turn off their lights for one hour to cast a vote in favor of action on climate change. Earth Hour will take place on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 8:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. (local time). Residents are encouraged to turn out non-essential lighting in their homes during this hour.
