Crystal Lake Public Library (CLPL)
CLPL is a twice-rated top-ten Library in the United States according to Hennen’s American Public Library Ratings. The Library circulates more than one million items each year. The Library annually receives more than 400,000 visits and is known for its friendly and professional staff members.
CLPL is a City Library. Anyone residing or owning a business within the City limits is eligible for a Library card. The Library offers free Internet access and WiFi and hosts programs for patrons from birth through older adults including storytimes, craft activities, summer and winter reading programs, and computer classes. The Library also offers homebound delivery and assistive technology for those with special needs.
