Public Education Responsibilities  

The Crystal Lake Fire Rescue Department's Public Education program educates residents about fire safety, life safety, and injury prevention. Some of our programs include:

• Station Tours
• Blood Pressure Checks
• Fire Extinguisher Demonstrations
• Observed Fire Drills
• Safety Talks and Presentations
• Community Events
• Annual Open House (Usually held in October)

Senior Fall Awareness and Fire Safety Program

Crystal Lake Fire Rescue offers a free Senior Safety class to interested groups. The free class provides information about ways to reduce the chances of fire injuries or falls. Caretakers are welcome! For more information, please contact the Fire Rescue Department.
